Mrs. Castro has been involved in education for over 18 years. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Wesley College, a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from the University of Phoenix, and a Superintendent Certification from the University of Texas at Tyler. Before becoming Administrator for Professional Development, Mrs. Castro was a principal at Oliveira Middle School, dean of instruction at Veterans Memorial High School, dean of instruction at Stell Middle School and a special education teacher.
Currently, as an Administrator for Professional Development her responsibility is to provide administrative expertise and leadership in coordinating and implementing plans and procedures for effective, productive staff development programs. Mrs. Castro has been involved with and chaired many committees throughout her career.
